DECLARATION OF HEADS OF STATE ON THE AMAZON COOPERATION TREATY ORGANIZATION
The Heads of State of the Member Countries of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization, on occasion of the preparatory meeting for the United Nations Conference on Climate Change held in Manaus, Amazonas, on 26 November 2009:
ACTO will be at the VIII Congress of COICA
The Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) accepted the invitation of the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Amazon Basin (COICA, Spanish acronym), and will be present at the Eighth Congress of COICA, which begins tomorrow, November 20 in Iquitos, Peru. The event lasts four days and its objective is to extend the information, discussion and the progress made by COICA in different scenarios, nationally and internationally.
